Schedule a complimentary 15-minute phone call or in-person meet-and-greet to discuss your child's motor development and any concerns you may have. This is an opportunity to ask questions, learn about evaluation and therapy options, and determine whether Steady Strides is the right fit for your family.
If your child has completed a physical therapy evaluation within the past six months, please mention this when scheduling.

Every physical therapy program will begin with a comprehensive evaluation that examines your child's birth history, medical and developmental background, and current physical condition. We will assess tone, range of motion, strength, and functional mobility skills. This information will be used to create a personalized treatment plan, outlining specific functional goals and outcomes for your child. If your child has had a physical thearpy evaluation within the last 6 months please let us know as we may be able to do a review of records in lieu of a full evaluation.
60 - 90 minutes, depending on complexity
-
Each physical therapy treatment session is play-based and focuses on developing your child’s motor skills to promote stability and independent movement. The optimal frequency and duration of treatment sessions will be established during the evaluation process.
30 - 60 minutes, depending on treatment plan

A physical therapy intensive is a specialized therapeutic program delivered as a burst of service. This method produces effective results in a short amount of time. Functional outcomes that are traditionally accomplished in months of ongoing therapy are achieved in just a few weeks. This is often an effective model for children with motor deficits who have plateaued in traditional physical therapy.
Session length and frequency customized to meet your child’s goals for intensive therapy.

CST is often used to address:
Birth trauma
Torticollis (head tilt)
Plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome)
Reflux and digestive discomfort
Feeding difficulties and oral tension
Body asymmetry
Sensory sensitivity
Difficulty with tummy time or movement

Our Motor Milestone Coaching packages are designed for families who are looking for a fun way to support their child’s motor development. Parents are coached on purposeful play techniques to help facilitate the development of their child’s motor skills to promote steady positioning and efficient movement patterns.
Children do not have to have to present with a delay or impairment to participate in a Motor Milestone Coaching program.
These packages make great gifts for new parents!

Children often learn best in their natural environments. We can come to your home, meet you at the park or schedule a visit at your childcare facility. In-home and community visits are subject to location and travel time.
An additional home visit fee may be added to any service to cover travel time and fuel charges. Inquire for pricing.

Insurance & Payment
At Steady Strides, we believe every child deserves therapy that is tailored to their unique needs—not dictated by insurance restrictions. That’s why we operate as an out-of-network provider, allowing us to focus on quality care over quantity.
While we don’t bill insurance directly, we’re happy to provide an invoice upon request so you can submit it for potential reimbursement. Many families find that our private pay rates are comparable to—or even lower than—what they would pay in co-pays and co-insurance, especially with high-deductible plans.
Our services are also eligible for most Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), though we encourage you to confirm with your provider. Payment is due in full at the time of service, and packages must be pre-purchased and are non-refundable.
We strive to make payment as easy as possible and accept cash, checks, major credit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.
If you have any questions about payment options or reimbursement, we’re happy to help! Our priority is ensuring that your child receives the best care in a way that works for your family.
